Cole Custer earned his second victory of the 2019 NASCAR Xfinity Series season by winning the ToyotaCare 250 at Richmond Raceway.

Stewart-Haas Racing’s Cole Custer entered the eighth race of the 33-race 2019 NASCAR Xfinity Series season, the ToyotaCare 250, at Richmond Raceway having earned one victory so far this season, as he won the race at Auto Club Speedway last month.

Custer doubled his season win total by winning Friday night’s 250-lap ToyotaCare 250 at the four-turn, 0.75-mile (1.207-kilometer) Richmond Raceway oval in Richmond, Virginia after starting in fourth place in his #00 Ford. Over the course of the last four races, he has doubled his career Xfinity Series win total.

Custer won this race by 2.639 seconds over Team Penske’s Austin Cindric, who tied his career-high finish with a second place finish in his #22 Ford. Cindric led the race late over Custer after taking the lead from him on the final restart, but Custer was able to run him down and pass him en route to taking the checkered flag.
