#5 through #1

#5. The first half of the NC Education Lottery 200 treated Brett Moffitt well. After qualifying in sixth place, he finished the second stage in fifth. Yet in the last 70 or so laps, he fell one lap off the lead lap before finishing in 19th. Moffitt lost one position in the championship standings as a result of this race. Fortunately, the reigning Truck Series champion is still in third in the championship standings, and he is 46 points above the playoff cut line.. No. 24, GMS Racing. Chevrolet, LW: 5. BRETT MOFFITT

Chevrolet, LW: 4. STEWART FRIESEN. #4. One week after a missed opportunity to earn the first victory of his Truck Series career, Stewart Friesen battled Matt Crafton for a large portion of the NC Education Lottery 200. Friesen bested Crafton to finish in third place and tied for the second-most points earned in this race. He now has a margin of 64 points above the playoff cut line in second in the championship standings.. No. 52, Halmar Friesen Racing

Ford, LW: 3. GRANT ENFINGER. #3. To an extent, Grant Enfinger felt frustrated leaving Charlotte Motor Speedway. Although he is the Truck Series championship standings leader, he could have finished better in the race. He finished third in both of the first two stages and ended up finishing in ninth in the race itself. He led two laps, but he didn’t have a race-winning #98 ThorSport Racing Ford. With a 79-point margin above the playoff cut line, he can afford to take some risks as he chases a playoff berth.. No. 98, ThorSport Racing

#2. The Fox Sports 1 broadcasters noted that Austin Hill has steadily improved in each race this Truck Series season. He led one lap and picked up 14 positions in the NC Education Lottery 200 to finish in sixth place. Hill has proven that he can race up front. Now it’s time for him to regularly challenge for the lead.. No. 16, Hattori Racing Enterprises. Toyota, LW: 2. AUSTIN HILL

#1. Johnny Sauter complained about his #13 ThorSport Racing Ford for much of the NC Education Lottery 200. On the final restart, a problem arose in his truck, and he didn’t initially go. As a result, much of the field stacked up behind him. After the field sorted itself, he finished in 17th place. He will be looking to bounce back in the next race at Texas Motor Speedway.. No. 13, ThorSport Racing. Ford, LW: 1. JOHNNY SAUTER
