NASCAR Xfinity Series: Tyler Reddick wins 2019 Alsco 300

Tyler Reddick earned his second victory of the 2019 NASCAR Xfinity Series season by winning the Alsco 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Richard Childress Racing’s Tyler Reddick earned his second victory of the 33-race 2019 NASCAR Xfinity Series season in the season’s 11th race, the Alsco 300, at Charlotte Motor Speedway. This victory is his second in the last three races, as he also won the race at Talladega Superspeedway in late April.
Reddick, who started this 200-lap race around the four-turn, 1.5-mile (2.414-kilometer) Charlotte Motor Speedway oval in Concord, North Carolina in third place in his #2 Chevrolet, won it by 2.102 seconds over JR Motorsports’ Justin Allgaier in second in his #7 Chevrolet.
Joe Gibbs Racing’s Jeffrey Earnhardt was the highest finishing Toyota driver of the race. He finished in third place in his #18 Toyota.

Chevrolet drivers rounded out the rest of the top eight. JR Motorsports’ Noah Gragson, Kaulig Racing’s Justin Haley, JR Motorsports teammates Michael Annett and Jeb Burton and RSS Racing’s Ryan Sieg finished in fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth place in their #9 Chevrolet, #11 Chevrolet, #1 Chevrolet, #8 Chevrolet and #39 Chevrolet, respectively.
Team Penske’s Austin Cindric was the highest finishing Ford driver of the race. He finished in ninth place in his #22 Ford. Joe Gibbs Racing’s Brandon Jones rounded out the top 10 by finishing in 10th in his #19 Toyota.
The race featured a total of 15 lead changes among seven drivers. Aside of Reddick, who led more laps than anybody else in the field with 110 laps led, six other drivers led at least one lap of the race.
These six drivers were Gragson, Jones, GMS Racing’s John Hunter Nemechek, Stewart-Haas Racing teammates Chase Briscoe and Cole Custer and Joe Gibbs Racing’s Christopher Bell, who started the race from the pole position but ended up crashing on lap 91. Bell won stage one while Reddick won stage two.
The race also featured a season-high 10 caution flag periods for a season-high 56 laps. Eight of these 10 caution flag periods took place as a result of on-track incidents while two took place as a result of the usual endings of stages one and two. Of the 38 drivers who started the race, 26 finished it, and of the 26 drivers who finished the race, 17 finished on the lead lap.
