Of the 16 drivers who are still eligible to win the 2018-2019 Formula E driver championship, 11 are set to face potential elimination in the Bern ePrix.
Following the 10th race on the 13-race 2018-2019 Formula E schedule, the Berlin ePrix, at Tempelhof Airport Street Circuit, 16 drivers are still mathematically eligible to win this season’s driver championship.
However, 11 of these 16 drivers are set to face potential elimination in the season’s 11th race, the Bern ePrix, at Bern Street Circuit.
Just like in each race, a maximum total of 29 points are on the table for each driver in this 45-minute race around the 14-turn, 1.657-mile (2.667-kilometer) Bern Street Circuit temporary street circuit in Bern, Switzerland.

The race victory is worth 25 points, the pole position for the race is worth three points and recording the fastest lap time of the race is worth one point.
As a result, once this race concludes, all drivers who are not within 58 points of the leader of the driver standings will be eliminated from championship contention, as only the two races of the New York City ePrix will remain on the schedule following this race.
This means that all drivers who are currently not within 29 points of the leader of the driver standings, DS Techeetah’s Jean-Eric Vergne, face the possibility of being mathematically eliminated from championship contention in the Bern ePrix.
Here is a list of the 11 drivers who are set to face mathematical elimination from championship contention in the 2019 Bern ePrix at Bern Street Circuit.
