Of the eight teams that are still eligible to win the 2018-2019 Formula E team championship, six are set to face potential elimination in the Bern ePrix.

Following the 10th of 13 races on the 2018-2019 Formula E schedule, the Berlin ePrix, at Tempelhof Airport Street Circuit, eight of the sport’s 11 teams are still mathematically eligible to win this season’s championship.

However, six of these eight teams are set to face potential elimination in the next race on the schedule, the Bern ePrix, at Bern Street Circuit.

In this 45-minute race around the 14-turn, 1.657-mile (2.667-kilometer) Bern Street Circuit temporary street circuit in Bern, Switzerland, just like in any other race on the schedule, a maximum of 47 points are on the table for each team.

Winning and finishing in second place in a race nets 43 points (25 points for winning and 18 points for finishing in second) for a team, and three additional points can be earned by taking the pole position for the race. One additional point can be earned by recording the fastest lap of the race.

As a result, once the Bern ePrix reaches its conclusion, all teams that are not within 94 points of the leaders of the team standings at this point will be eliminated from championship contention, as only two races, the two races of the New York City ePrix, will remain on the schedule after this race ends.

This means that all teams that are currently not within 47 points of the leaders of the team standings, DS Techeetah, face the possibility of being mathematically eliminated from championship contention in the Bern ePrix.

Here is a list of the six teams that are set to face potential mathematical elimination from championship contention in the 2019 Bern ePrix at Bern Street Circuit.
