NASCAR Truck Series: 5 reasons Ross Chastain can still win the 2019 title

Law of averages
Over the last several months, pretty much everything that has happened to Ross Chastain has been on either the highly favorable end of the spectrum or the highly unfavorable end of the spectrum.
Chastain landed a deal with Chip Ganassi Racing in the Xfinity Series in August of 2018 for three races in September, and he made the most of that opportunity by dominating two of those three races, including one that resulted in him earning the first victory of his Xfinity Series career and one that resulted in him being wrecked by Kevin Harvick late, and finishing in second place in the other.
As a result, in November, Chip Ganassi Racing signed Chastain as the full-time driver of the #42 Chevrolet for the 2019 season.
Shortly thereafter, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agents raided the home of Jeff Carpoff, the CEO of Chip Ganassi Racing primary sponsor DC Solar. As a result, Chip Ganassi Racing were forced to shut down their Xfinity Series team for the 2019 season, leaving Chastain without a ride.
Chastain did up landing a full-time Xfinity Series ride with two teams, JD Motorsports and Kaulig Racing, in late January in addition to a then part-time Truck Series ride with Niece Motorsports that he had landed earlier in the month to go along with the full-time Cup Series ride he had already secured with Premium Motorsports back in October.
