#5 through #1

#5. Grant Enfinger won stages one and two of the CarShield 200. He now has three stage wins this season. Thanks to those stage wins, he earned the most points in this race, and he remained the leader of the Truck Series championship standings. He now has a 116-point lead over the playoff cut line, so he can afford to gamble for a win. If ThorSport Racing keep bringing him fast #98 Fords, he will celebrate in victory lane at some point this season.. No. 98, ThorSport Racing. Ford, LW: 4. GRANT ENFINGER

#4. Austin Hill led four laps of the CarShield 200, and he finished stage two in 10th place. He is already locked into the playoffs as a result of his season-opening victory at Daytona International Speedway, but he lacks continual race-winning speed. An 11th place finish at Gateway further illustrates my point. If he wants to advance in the playoffs, he will need to score more playoff points. All he has right now are the five points he earned thanks to his victory.. No. 16, Hattori Racing Enterprises. Toyota, LW: 2. AUSTIN HILL

#3. NASCAR suspending Johnny Sauter from competing in the CarShield 200 didn’t prevent him from racing this weekend. On the same day as this race, he competed in the Dick Trickle 99 at Dells Raceway Park in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin. He started the super late model race in 15th place and was unhappy with his car according to Short Track Scene founder Matt Weaver. After making big changes to his car, he climbed all the way up to finish in second behind part-time ARCA Menards Series driver Ty Majeski. Sauter is set to return to the Truck Series at Chicagoland Speedway, but what a thrill for the fans who saw him race a super late model.. No. 13, ThorSport Racing. Ford, LW: 1. JOHNNY SAUTER

BRETT MOFFITT. #2. Brett Moffitt finished stage one of the CarShield 200 in 10th place, but during the second stage, he felt a power issue with his #24 GMS Racing Chevrolet. Apparently his team solved the problem because he finished the race in fifth. Although he only won at Iowa Speedway due to the fact that Ross Chastain’s race-winning #44 Chevrolet failed post-race inspection, Moffitt has quietly been consistent this season. He currently sits in fifth in the championship standings, and he appears to be ready to defend his Truck Series championship.. No. 24, GMS Racing. Chevrolet, LW: 3

#1. From unranked to all the way to the top of the power rankings? It was always only a matter of time until Ross Chastain won a race after declaring for Truck Series points. He has earned two victories so far this season, but only his CarShield 200 victory counts toward the playoffs. He is currently 38 points out of the required top 20 in the championship standings to qualify for the playoffs even with this victory, but he will undoubtedly finish the regular season in the top 20. His goal for the rest of the season is the same as it was before he won this race: race for stage wins and victories.. No. 45, Niece Motorsports. Chevrolet, LW: NR. ROSS CHASTAIN
