How did Will Power’s first victory in nearly one year in the rain-shortened ABC Supply 500 at Pocono Raceway affect the IndyCar Power Rankings?

For the first time in the 2019 IndyCar season, Team Penske’s Will Power was victorious. He became victorious in the 17-race season’s 14th race at Pocono Raceway, the ABC Supply 500.

Power, who officially won this race when it was called early due to bad weather, was on the verge of seeing his win drought extend to more than one year after having not won a race since he won the race at World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway late last August, and he was on the verge of his first winless season since the 2006 Champ Car season.

How did Power’s victory in this rain-shortened 128-lap (from 200) race around the three-turn, 2.5-mile (4.023-kilometer) Pocono Raceway oval in Long Pond, Pennsylvania affect the IndyCar Power Rankings?

Before we dive into the formulated IndyCar Driver Power Rankings (see formula here), take a look at where you can expect to see some of this week’s most notable drivers.
