Kevin Harvick, like Clint Bowyer, is set to run a corn-themed Busch Beer paint scheme in this Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway as a part of Busch’s initiative with Farm Rescue.

Long-time Stewart-Haas Racing NASCAR Cup Series sponsor Busch Beer has partnered with Farm Rescue a one-of-a-kind non-profit organization which provides critical material aid to family farms, to expand into Kansas, its seventh state of operation. Kansas is the first state to be added to the network since 2017.

As a result of this partnership, the drivers of the #4 Ford and #14 Ford, Kevin Harvick and Clint Bowyer, are both set to run corn-themed paint schemes in this Sunday’s race at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Take a look at the cars these two drivers are set to run in this 325-lap Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 at the four-turn, 1.54-mile (2.478-kilometer) oval in Hampton, Georgia.

This initiative is Busch’s biggest milestone in support of farmers to date, and fans who tweet using the hashtag #ForTheFarmers during this race can win some awesome corn-related prize packages from the company.

Additionally, fans across the country can support Farm Rescue by purchasing limited-edition Busch Light corn packs. $1 of each purchase will be donated back to the initiative, for up to $100,000 in donations.

We spoke with Harvick about this initiative and what it means to him to represent it this weekend at a track where he has won twice before.

“I think we all have especially become very informed on why our farmers are so important during this pandemic,” said Harvick. “Having food on your table and in the grocery stores is something that is very important.

“When you look at the Farm Rescue effort, moving it into Kansas, being able to have Busch Lite a part of it and being able to raise up to $100,000 is something that I’ve become used to because the folks from Anheuser Busch and the Busch and Busch Lite brands especially have just been great about raising awareness for causes and also donating to causes in times of need.”

The pandemic is certainly one of those times, especially for the farmers.

“Obviously this is a time that our farmers are in need,” he continued. “To be a part of this program with Clint, I know obviously this hits really close to home with him being in Kansas, especially in the farming industry. To be able to have both of these cars on the race track, a part of such a great campaign again with the Busch brands, is something that I am proud to be a part of.”

Harvick also discussed what the fans can to do get involved.

“Right now, you can go to @BuschBeer on Twitter, and they always have a lot of information on what you can and can’t do and the things that are a part of the platform for the weekend,” he said. “So I know right now there’s $1 from every pack, up to $100,000, that that will be donated to the Farm Rescue effort.

“That’s really the most important thing right now, is that we make sure we take all of their $100,000 and put it toward Farm Rescue.”

Sunday’s race is set to be broadcast live on Fox beginning at 3:00 p.m. ET.
