Formula 1: Bahrain opening race odds revealed
By Asher Fair
The odds for the 2022 Formula 1 season-opening Bahrain Grand Prix at Bahrain International Circuit have already been revealed.
Four weeks after the conclusion of the dramatic 22-race 2021 Formula 1 season at Yas Marina Circuit, it still seems as though the start of the 23-race 2022 season is pretty far off.
But preseason testing is scheduled to begin next month, the 10-team, 20-driver lineup for the year is solidified (provided there are no unexpected retirements), and last but not least, the odds for the season opener have been revealed.
There are still 10 weeks (70 days), more than two months, to go until the 2022 season is scheduled to get underway at Bahrain International Circuit with the Bahrain Grand Prix, but the betting odds for this 57-lap race around the 15-turn, 3.363-mile (5.412-kilometer) course in Sakhir, Bahrain have been listed by WynnBET.
Take a look.

There is still quite a bit of uncertainty about the new rules and regulations for the 2022 season and how that will impact the battle at the front of the grid. Which team or teams will get it right? Will there be more competitive than usual for race wins and podium finishes? Who will be the surprise of the year?
If this were the 2021 season, the smart bet would be to bet on both Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen, as they combined for 18 victories in 22 races. With those odds, you could guarantee a profit by betting on both, provided one of them ends up atop the podium.
While we fully expect both of those drivers to again be among the best, it’s not the 2021 season anymore, so your best bet is probably to hold off betting on an individual race until we get much closer to the race — like, a lot closer than two and a half months.
Keep an eye on these odds, in the meantime, as we all try our best to figure out how this new era of Formula 1 is going to look.
