Must have diecasts from the Daytona 500: No. 5 – Kaz Grala

Last but not least, the car that caught the most eyes in the 64th running of the Daytona 500: the Pit Viper-sponsored #50 Chevrolet Camaro, fielded by the Floyd Mayweather Jr.-owned The Money Team Racing and driven by Kaz Grala.

This diecast will add a bright, eye-popping piece to any collection. The hood and roof of the car were light blue, with a nice purple to yellow fade on either side. There were also white specks all over the car to give it even more flare. But maybe an even better reason why we need this diecast is the fact that it almost didn’t even make it into the Daytona 500.

Grala and The Money Team Racing were almost left out of the Daytona 500, which ended up being their first ever NASCAR Cup Series start after several years of rumors.

The #50 team was one of the six teams fighting for four open spots in the Daytona 500. He earned a spot on the grid by racing his way into the Daytona 500 in the first Bluegreen Vacations Duel with a last-lap pass of J.J. Yeley.

Unfortunately, there are no officially licensed #50 Chevrolet diecasts on the market right now, but the fans have made it very clear that this is the most sought-after diecast from the Daytona 500. If I were you, I would keep an eye out, because once they’re released, they might sell out before you know it.
