Top NASCAR teams of 2022: No. 4 – Trackhouse Racing Team
Trackhouse Racing Team have undoubtedly been the surprise team of the 2022 NASCAR Cup Seires season. They are the only highest ranking two-car team in this list. Ross Chastain, the driver of the fresh new-look #1 Chevrolet, has already had a season he will never forget, and we’re only 12 races in.
Chastain went to victory lane at Circuit of the Americas and Talladega Superspeedway. Both wins came via dramatic last-lap passes coming to the checkered flag. He has added an additional four top three finishes this year.
With the consistent success of Chastain so far this year, don’t be surprised if we see some more watermelons smashed on the track throughout the rest of the 2022 season.

And we can’t forget about Daniel Suarez. The driver of the #99 Chevrolet is also having himself an impressive year. While he has just two top five finishes compared to his teammate’s series-best seven, those numbers don’t show that he has also been in the front of the pack all year. He has led 120 laps in 2022, putting him on pace for a career-high in that category.
With these two talented drivers, Trackhouse Racing Team have solidified themselves as the best two-car team in the Cup Series. The start of the 2022 season must make team co-owners Justin Marks and Pitbull pretty dang happy!
