The full starting lineup for Sunday afternoon’s IndyCar race at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, the Honda Indy 200, is set following Saturday afternoon’s qualifying session.

Following a three-week break in the action, IndyCar is set to get the second half of its 17-race 2022 season underway on Sunday afternoon at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course with the Honda Indy 200.

Arrow McLaren SP’s Pato O’Ward took the pole position for the season’s ninth race in Saturday afternoon’s qualifying session.

O’Ward took the pole position for this 80-lap race around the 13-turn, 2.258-mile (3.634-kilometer) Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course natural terrain road course in Lexington, Ohio by recording a top lap time of 66.7054 seconds (121.861 miles per hour) behind the wheel of his #5 Chevrolet in the third and final round of knockout qualifying, the Firestone Fast Six.

O’Ward is the ninth different polesitter in ninth races this year. Prior to 2022, no season had produced nine different polesitters in the first nine races since the 1961 USAC Champ Car Series season.

Set to join O’Ward on the front row is Team Penske’s Scott McLaughlin in second place behind the wheel of his #3 Chevrolet.

None of the drivers in the top three in the championship standings qualified inside the top 12.
