There are quite a few NASCAR Cup Series teams which have yet to announce anything pertaining to their plans for the 2023 season.

The 2023 NASCAR Cup Series driver lineup is coming together little by little, with several drivers having recently signed contract extensions or deals to compete with new teams next year.

But there are still several seats open in that lineup, and to that point, there are still several teams that haven’t made any confirmations about what their individual lineups will look like in 2023.

Here are five teams that haven’t yet made any driver announcements yet this silly season.

NASCAR teams without plans announced: No. 1 – Kaulig Racing

We’re going to dive right in here with a team that many once believed had the inside track to land Kyle Busch’s services for the 2023 season: Kaulig Racing.

Kaulig Racing are expected to announce that current full-time driver Justin Haley will return to the #31 Chevrolet next year, but they haven’t yet done so.

Their plans for the #16 Chevrolet remain up in the air, though that is set to change.

Currently sharing their second full-time ride are three part-time drivers: Noah Gragson, A.J. Allmendinger, and Daniel Hemric. Gragson, who competes full-time for JR Motorsports in the Xfinity Series, has already signed with Petty GMS Motorsports to drive full-time at the Cup level next year.

With Allmendinger and Hemric both competing full-time Matt Kaulig’s Xfinity Series program, will either one be promoted to the Cup Series, or will they sign somebody new for the second car?

They have a driver announcement coming later this week, and it has been reported that Allmendinger will be promoted at that time.
