Prior to the 2022 Formula 1 season, Valtteri Bottas partnered with Ohio-based company Hyland, and he is embracing that partnership ahead of the United States Grand Prix.
Ahead of his first Formula 1 season with Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN, former Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas formed a partnership with Hyland, a United States-based leading content services provider which enables thousands of organizations to deliver better experiences to the people it serves.
The world of Formula 1 relies on speed and agility, and this agile philosophy is shared by Alfa Romeo and Hyland. By applying advanced technologies to adapt to the speed of change, the company is helping the team and the 33-year-old Finn take the next step forward.
Fractions of seconds gained or lost define performance in Formula 1, and the same applies to Hyland customers, who automatically process insights to put the proper information in the right hands at the right time, driving better business performance to outpace the top competition.
That partnership is in the spotlight as Formula 1 makes its second trip to the United States this year for Sunday afternoon’s United States Grand Prix.
Bottas heads into this Sunday afternoon’s 56-lap race at the 20-turn, 3.427-mile (5.515-kilometer) Austin, Texas road course as the owner of the track’s fastest lap, having set the mark at 1:32.029 to take the pole position for the 2019 United States Grand Prix.
Ahead of the upcoming race weekend, Bottas teamed up with Hyland to answer some fun trivia questions about fast things that are Texan.
Speed powers performance on and off the track. So let’s see if I can finish the @Hyland Texas trivia quiz in less time that my COTA lap record!#VB77 #Hyland @alfaromeoorlen pic.twitter.com/7iJSPWBNWC

We had the chance to speak to Bottas about this partnership ahead of this Sunday afternoon’s United States Grand Prix, a race Bottas dominated in 2019.
“First got introduced [to Hyland], it was last winter, started to talk with them,” Bottas told Beyond the Flag. “I think Hyland had some interest on getting involved into Formula 1, one way or another, either through a driver or through a team. Then I think they saw that we share a lot of things together.
“Obviously, speed is the key in F1, and also for Hyland’s customers, speed is so important to proceed and succeed in today’s world. Then when we started talking, we saw that we could actually do so many cool things together and we share a lot of the same values.”
Hyland partnered not only with Bottas himself, but with the team.
“Hyland decided to team up with me, but also directly with Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN, which is great,” he continued. “Of course, as we go, we learn more and more about each other. It’s been a great year so far together.”
In addition to the video, Hyland is planning much more to engage with fans both before and after the United States Grand Prix.
“We had done content earlier this year in the U.S. and we are still in the process of planning other things,” Bottas said. “I think we are still trying to do some activations this weekend. But there’s more stuff for sure to come in the future, and it’s still quite early days in our partnership. So far, like I said, I’ve really enjoyed it and there are a lot of cool things ahead.”
The United States Grand Prix is set to be broadcast live on ABC from Circuit of the Americas beginning at 1:30 p.m. ET. If you haven’t yet began a free trial of FuboTV, do so today!
