Any additional IndyCar entries for this year’s Indy 500 would ensure bumping for the first time since 2021, as there are currently 33 cars confirmed.

IndyCar is once again just a month away from being Back Home Again in Indiana, and given the chaotic start to the 2023 season, the anticipation of this year’s running of the Greatest Spectacle in Racing is just about as high as it has been over the last several years.

Additionally, the series has avoided an unwanted component of drama this time around. Last year at this time, it was looking like the 106th running of the Indy 500 could be the first without 33 cars since 1947. A 33rd entry was later added to keep the tradition alive.

This year, there are already 33 confirmed entries, and there is still a good chance that that number could grow, which would result in bumping for the first time since 2021.

Who is set to compete in the 107th edition of the 200-lap race around the four-turn, 2.5-mile (4.023-kilometer) Speedway, Indiana oval?

Let’s have a look at the confirmed Indy 500 entries for 2023, including the full-time entries and the Indy 500 only/part-time entries.
