Formula 1 races Red Bull might not win: No. 3 – Las Vegas Grand Prix

The brand-new Las Vegas Strip Circuit is scheduled to host its first ever Formula 1 race this season, marking the sport’s return to Sin City for the first time since 1982.

None of the 10 teams or 20 drivers on the grid will truly know what to expect until the lights go out under the lights on Saturday, November 18.

Given the fact that the 17-turn, 3.803-mile (6.120-kilometer) street circuit is one which nobody has ever driven, it should prove advantageous for the most experienced drivers on the grid, with Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso being the two at the very top of the list.

Mercedes and Aston Martin just so happen to have shown to be the next two strongest teams behind Red Bull so far in 2023, though the former seem to have picked up a recent edge.

Red Bull might very well be the only threat to Hamilton in his quest to add to his all-time wins record. And let’s not forget that his most recent win came in the inaugural race at a new street circuit in Jeddah back in December 2021. The British driver’s upper hand in experience could be the edge he needs to take down Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez in Las Vegas.
