The final race on the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series regular season schedule is set to be broadcast live on NBC as opposed to USA Network.

The 26-race 2023 NASCAR Cup Series regular season is set to conclude this Saturday night with the annual Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona International Speedway.

To create drama and add a layer of unpredictability to an already exciting drafting race, NASCAR moved this race from its traditional Independence Day weekend schedule slot back in 2020, and it has remained the regular season finale ever since.

Just one of the 16 playoff spots remains up for grabs in this 160-lap race around the four-turn, 2.5-mile (4.023-kilometer) high-banked Daytona Beach, Florida oval.

This Saturday night’s race is just the fourth race of the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series season to be shown live on NBC.

Since NBC took over the broadcasting duties from Fox back in June, six races have been shown live on the NBCUniversal-owned USA Network, which took over as the alternative network during NBC’s portion of the broadcast schedule after NBC Sports Network shut down at the end of 2021. Just three races have actually been shown live on NBC so far this year.

This Saturday night’s race is the final race on NBC until the fifth race of the playoffs — the second race of the round of 12 — at Talladega Superspeedway on Sunday, October 1.

The first four playoff races are set to air live on USA Network, while the final six, including the Championship 4 event at Phoenix Raceway, are set to be shown on NBC.

FanDuel Sportsbook, which is giving fans a guaranteed $200 when they sign up and place a single $5 bet, lists Hendrick Motorsports’ Chase Elliott as the +1100 favorite to win the Coke Zero Sugar 400.

Odds and availability are always subject to change. Lock in your $200 now before it’s too late!
