4. Yuki Tsunoda

Yuki Tsunoda has progressed a lot since the start of the 2023 season. The 23-year-old could be turning into something quite special and those at RB and Red Bull are happy with his current performance.

With the Japanese driver's contract set to expire at the end of the season, he could be looking for a big move as he enters the next phase of his career. With it being clear that Daniel Ricciardo is in the running for that second Red Bull seat next season, Tsunoda consistently beating out the Australian this season could boost his own chances of landing it.

Additionally, Tsunoda is having his best start to a season, as he sits in 11th place in the driver standings with six points. If he can maintain this level, he could be on the radar for some big teams going forward.

It can be reasonably inferred that Tsunoda is not the first option for Red Bull. But if Red Bull are not able to strike a deal with any of their desired targets, they could turn to Tsunoda for a short-term contract.

Though many are not talking about the possibility of Tsunoda moving up to the Red Bull A-team, his situation is something to keep an eye on as teams and drivers negotiate deals for the 2025 season and beyond.
