By Alex Herbst
The first elimination race of the NASCAR Chase arrives this weekend. What else is on the motorsports TV schedule? Find out more here.
The racing action and adrenaline continues to build as 2016 comes to a close, and there will be plenty of events to cap off the month of September and kick off October on the motorsports TV schedule.
The first cut race for the Chase for the Sprint Cup has arrived, as four drivers will see their championship aspirations end for 2016 at the Monster Mile. Joining the Sprint Cup Series in action from Dover will be the Xfinity Series, in Round 2 of their inaugural Chase.
Meanwhile, the Camping World Truck Series will also be in the second race of their Chase in Sin City at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Elsewhere in the USA there will be plenty of on-track action too. One of the biggest sports car races of the year, the season-ending Petit Le Mans, will attract the attention of the endurance world for ten hours of excitement. The NHRA will be hunting down a title from Reading, Pennsylvania in the Countdown.
