Above are the final standings from the 2010 season and the 12 drivers that were in the 2009 chase. Entering the final race of the chase in 2010 Denny Hamlin was actually the point leader. However, a rough race following an early spin led to Hamlin losing out on the title and Johnson winning his fifth in a row.
