Which struggling drivers will have a good day on Sunday?

Carl Edwards, Matt Kenseth and Tony Stewart have all gotten off to slower starts than they might have wanted to in 2015. This week in Fontana each of them will be looking for a solid finish to get things back on track.

Edwards and Kenseth have run better than Stewart but neither of them has truly contended to win a race yet in 2015, something many thought they would be doing early and often. For these two drivers it seems like finding a balance and maybe a little more power will be the key to success. A Toyota has not won a NASCAR race in a year and Kenseth has not won in more than a year. Something has to give because they are both too talented to not be winning this season.

For Stewart things are a bit more troubling as his average finish in 2015 is 36th. However, a lot of that has to do with wrecks. If not for a wreck last weekend Stewart had at least a top-15 car. This week the goal for Stewart should be a top-15 finish and then the team can go from there. If they do better than that, great!
