NASCAR: 10 Observations After 1/4 Of The Season

The Penske Bunch Is Strong Again
Joey Logano and Brad Keselowski both had great runs in 2014, 2015 is much of the same thus far.
Logano and Keselwoski have already won in 2015 which means they will most likely be in the chase once again this season. The tracks that they ran well at in 2014 they have run well at again in 2015 which is a great sign from a team perspective. The other good news for team Penske is that they continue to nail it when it comes to qualifying. It’s always better to start races towards the front of the pack and Team Penske tends to do that as they have strong qualifying runs most weeks.
Another positive for Team Penske is that Keselowski has avoided the headlines in 2015 (so far at least). The latter of 2014 was dominated by Keselowski and the fights that he was in and the way that he raced people on the track. The most controversial thing that the driver of the No. 2 car has done in 2015 is write a story about Kyle Busch that may or may not be true.
Both of these drivers should be a factor once the chase begins in the fall.
