UPDATE – HScott has denied bringing a third car aboard in 2016 but they also haven’t filled the two cars that they currently have. Many believe there is a lot of smoke being thrown here and that Bowyer could still end up with HScott in 2016.

Didnt expect this? Well wrap your mind around it because it is a very real possibility. Current drivers Justin Allgaier and Michael Annett are free agents after 2015 and bringing Bowyer into the organization for 2016 is a very likely scenario. HScott is a Chevrolet manufacturer currently which sees an affiliation with Hendrick Motorsports. Harry Scott and Bowyer have been in talks and the teams seems to be holding off on Allgaier’s contract situation because of Bowyer and his status for 2016.

The main focus of this move will be to move Bowyer from HScott to Stewart-Haas Racing in 2017 which may see Stewart retire. We have seen the likes of Kasey Kahne to Kurt Busch race with single or multi car, lower funded teams to go to bigger organizations the next season and Bowyer doing so in 2016 is a huge possibility. HScott Motorsports seems to be the most likely destination for Bowyer moving forward with Stewart-Haas to take over for Tony Stewart to follow.
