No matter how good something is, it can always be better.
At least that’s what I tell myself when thinking about the Chase format that was introduced into the Sprint Cup Series back in 2014. While this new format does indeed have a huge amount of positives, it also has some negative aspects that likely turn fans away from the sport.
With that being said, here are five ways that NASCAR can tweak the format a bit without losing any of the excitement that the new format has brought us over the past two years. Some of these tweaks would be easy to implement while others might comes with some hesitation but then again the point here is progress, right?
