Oh what a weekend it was in Martinsville. With the final appeal announcement coming on Thursday, the NASCAR world can finally put Martinsville in the rear view mirror and look forward. With the arrival of Texas it means that there are seven drivers in the Chase looking to win and secure their spot in the finale. Three of those seven drivers find themselves in a bad spot when it comes to their position in the point standings.
Although eight drivers remain in the NASCAR Chase, not everyone is on equal footing heading into Texas in regards to momentum. The points might suggest one thing with a couple of races to go in the round but that isn’t everything. Here is a look at the NASCAR Chase Power Rankings heading into Martinsville.
