They are the characters in the story that are there to make things interesting and give the fans someone to root against while they cheer on their hero. Fortunately for fans of auto racing, NASCAR is no exception to this rule and have featured many villainous characters and entities throughout their sports history.
Keep in mind though that there are various kinds of villains in the sport of NASCAR. Some are the antiheroes, some classified as villainous by their behavior, but loved by fans everywhere nonetheless. Then there are the bad guys, or those that have such vile personalities and wouldn’t be liked even if they did and said everything “right.”
