Despite 2016 being his first full-time season in NASCAR’s Sprint Cup Series, Chase Elliott already has five primary sponsors.

Chase Elliott will be one of the most intriguing rookies during 2016. Whether it’s because he is in the famous No. 24 or the fact that he will be a part of Hendrick Motorsports, one of NASCAR’s most prestigious teams, Elliott, just 20 years old, will provide plenty of storylines to follow. To go along with that, he will have five different primary sponsors for the 2016 season, which is not too common for a rookie.

NAPA is the first and most important sponsor for Elliott. The auto parts association has been with him throughout his past two seasons in the Xfinity Series, and they are following him to the Sprint Cup Series for 24 races in 2016.

The Xfinity Series wasn’t the only place we saw Elliott with NAPA either. He drove the NAPA No. 25 in his five Cup races in 2015. Martin Truex Jr. was the last driver to use NAPA over an extended period of time in the Cup Series, as he raced in the No. 56 car from 2010-2013.

3M decided to stay with the No. 24 even after Jeff Gordon retired, however, they will not be sponsoring as many races in 2016. After being with Gordon for 10 races in 2015, they cut their total down to five. Many fans were not fond of the silver and white creation that Gordon drove but Elliott’s new 3M car will feature white, red and black, providing a little more color and a flashier design for the rookie.

Kelley Blue Book and Mountain Dew both expanded their sponsorships from Dale Earnhardt Jr. out to Chase Elliott for two races each in 2016. It was expected that the two might have a few similar sponsors since Elliott raced for JR Motorsports in the Xfinity Series and since they now share spots on a team in the Cup Series.

SunEnergy1 is the final and most recent addition to Elliott’s lineup for 2016. The company is based in North Carolina, the same state as Hendrick Motorsports, and it will be linked to the No. 24 for this year as well as 2017 and 2018. According to NASCAR.com, Kenny Habul’s company will be with Elliott for some pretty big races as they are scheduled to run at Daytona, Watkins Glen, Kansas and Phoenix.

Rick Hendrick is excited to see the youngster compete in his first season and has been fast to give him some high praise at times.

"“I have never seen a young guy mature as fast as Chase Elliott.”"

He will definitely have lots to live up to with all of the hype surrounding him and the amount of companies putting their logo on his car this season. Though Elliott is young, theres no better place to start at than Hendrick Motorsports and it’s exciting to think about his future with the team as well as what other sponsors he will attract over his career.

2016 is certainly going to be different without Jeff Gordon driving the No. 24 car, but one thing is for sure: there will never be a shortage of sponsors as long as Chase Elliott is aboard.
