The 2016 NASCAR season is just past the halfway mark but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t a few awesome jobs still available around the sport.

Each month we highlight some of the more exciting openings in the sport as well as some that our readers might be interested in applying for.   • *NEW* NASCAR – Manager, Policy and Research
    • The Manager of Policy and Research will be responsible for identifying, analyzing and tracking public policy, political issues and related data relevant to NASCAR and the Motorsports industry for inclusion in various internal communications and briefings. The incumbent will also support several of the department’s responsibilities at-track and other special events, including the coordination of distinguished visitors and support for traffic safety, military and other corporate social responsibility related initiatives. Excellent writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required. The position requires an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment while working collaboratively with a team.   • *NEW* NASCAR – Coordinator, Facility Operations
    • NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join our team in the position Coordinator, Facility Operations based in our Charlotte, NC office. The Coordinator, Facility Operations position will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day tasks for facility operations.     • NASCAR – Technician, Pit Road
      • NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join us in the position of Technician, Pit Road Officiating Technology. This is a hands on field position responsible for the week to week deployment, support and teardown of the newly created Pit Road Officiating application and hauler. This position must have extensive experience with automated tracking systems for officiating for sports, IPTV camera systems and networking.       • Derrike Cope Racing/JP Motorsports – Crew Chief
        • Derrike Cope Racing with JP Motorsports is looking for a highly motivated self starter to crew chief the DCR Team #70. Experience as a crew or car chief in a NASCAR series is a must. Excellent communication and leadership skills are required. Salary is dependent on experience more than education. Candidate must be willing to travel every week and be able to perform hard physical labor. Individuals who do not have a strong passion for this sport need not apply.           • Obaika Racing (No. 97 XFINTIY Series team) is in the need of the following positions.
            • Pit Stop Coach – Able to train and coordinate training of all positions of a NASCAR pit crew
              Must have some mechanical ability to work on NASCAR Xfinity car during the week as well as go over the wall on weekends
            • Car Chief – Experience in all facets of NASCAR Racing as well as set ups in the 3 top series of NASCAR
              Must be able to teach and communicate well with others and be able to lead if crew chief is busy
            • Office Manager – Experience with quick books. Self starter and good phone manners. 20-25 hrs a week. Can be flexible with schedule.
