TV Tuner – Motorsports TV Schedule, July 28-31
By Alex Herbst
From Sonoma to Pocono, and all points in between, the final weekend of July is chock full of on track action. Here’s your full motorsports TV schedule.
It might be the dog days of summer across the United States, but the final weekend of July will be a race fan’s delight. All three of the top racing series stateside will be on track this weekend, with plenty more action overseas.
Following a dominant performance at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Kyle Busch looks for his second consecutive win – and three in a row for Joe Gibbs Racing – at the Tricky Triangle of Pocono Raceway.
The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will be joined by the ARCA Racing Series and the Camping World Truck Series from Pennsylvania. The Xfinity Series will also be on track, but a time zone away with their second stop at Iowa Speedway.
In the open wheel ranks, IndyCar comes back from its week off to race at the tight twisting turns of the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in the Honda Indy 200. TV coverage can be seen on CNBC live, and on NBCSN following NASCAR on Sunday.
The Formula One world championship heads to Hockenheim for the German Grand Prix, which can also be viewed on the networks of NBC Sports.
The rest of the racing world will also be featured on TV this weekend. The NHRA is at Sonoma on the second leg of their western swing and their second race on FOX.
World Rally 2016 is back on the air with action from Finland, and Red Bull Global RallyCross comes at you from Washington, D.C.
