Stats at Michigan:

  • Top-5’s: 4
  • Top-10’s: 7

For Brad Keselowski, trips to Michigan mean a little bit more than trips to other tracks.

From Rochester Hills, Michigan, he has been searching for a Cup Series win at his home track for his entire career, but has fell short each and every time. In 2011, he earned a third-place finish. In 2012, he earned a second-place finish and he’s finished in the top-10 in the last five races at the track.

He just hasn’t been able to get it done in his home state, but that could change this weekend. Keselowski will come into Sunday in the midst of one of the best seasons of his career. In 2016, he has four wins (career high is six) and an average finish of 10.3.

Perhaps the most important part of Michigan is the restarts. With the chaotic spreading and wild maneuvers, drivers have to be ready for anything. Another track with similar restarts is Pocono, which Keselowski had second and third-place finishes at this year.

Brad Keselowski has all the skills he needs to get his first win at Michigan. Look for him to compete for one on Sunday.
