The 2016 NASCAR Chase is almost here but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t a few awesome jobs still available around the sport.

Each month we highlight some of the more exciting openings in the sport as well as some that our readers might be interested in applying for.   • *NEW* Hendrick Motorsports – Tire Changer
    • Team Hendrick will be holding an open tryout for tire changers for the 2017 NASCAR season. Those who wish to attend should have previous pit crew experience, be contract-free for the 2017 NASCAR season and able to work the entire season for HMS.   • Ticket Operations Manager (Gateway Motorsports Park)
    • Afull-time, year around role at Gateway Motorsports Park. This position will report to the Director of Events. 2-3 years of Ticket Sales experience. Bachelor’s Degree Preferred. Box office management a plus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, climb, stoop, talk or hear, and smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to and more than 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.   • NASCAR – Manager, Policy and Research
    • The Manager of Policy and Research will be responsible for identifying, analyzing and tracking public policy, political issues and related data relevant to NASCAR and the Motorsports industry for inclusion in various internal communications and briefings. The incumbent will also support several of the department’s responsibilities at-track and other special events, including the coordination of distinguished visitors and support for traffic safety, military and other corporate social responsibility related initiatives. Excellent writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required. The position requires an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment while working collaboratively with a team.
