The Round of 12 is Starting this weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Here are 4 predictions for the Bank of America 500.

NASCAR is set to start the next round of the Chase at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Four drivers were eliminated at Dover last weekend and the remaining Chase drivers will start fresh in the points system on Saturday night.

The race at Charlotte can be a long one; this track is 1.5 miles and similar to other tracks this size and the race will be just over 500 miles.

Last time NASCAR was at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Martin Truex Jr. put on a show and dominated the race from start to finish. After how well he ran in the first round of the Chase, will the 78 make it back to Victory Lane on Saturday night?

Truex has clearly been the top driver in the Chase and if another team is going step up to challenge him as the top driver right now, the Bank of America 500 is going to be the race to do it. Which team will be next to step up and show that they are strong enough to make it to Homestead?

One of the biggest issues heading into this weekend though is going to be the weather. Hurricane Mathew is making it’s way to North Carolina and could impact the race on Saturday. If the race does get rained out, how will teams and drivers be impacted by a day race at Charlotte instead?

The round of 12 will start this weekend and all 12 Chase drivers have a chance to win and place themselves in the next round.

What will happen at the Bank of America 500? Here are 4 predictions for the race this Saturday night.
