Motorsports TV Schedule For The Weekend Of Oct. 20-23
By Alex Herbst
The world’s best racers all descend on the United States this weekend, with F1 and NASCAR on top of our motorsports TV schedule.
Racing around the globe is always fun to watch on TV, but it takes on a new level of importance when it happens in your backyard. Two of the top racing series in the world will be in action from the Southeast U.S. this weekend, both with championships on the line.
NASCAR will close out the Round of 12 in the Chase for the Sprint Cup this weekend at Talladega Superspeedway. The ultimate wild card of the championship hunt could completely change the Chase grid heading into Texas. Meanwhile, the Camping World Truck Series will join the Cup guys on track, racing in their version of the Chase too on Saturday afternoon.
Some twelve hours away deep in the heart of Texas, Formula One returns to race in America in the United States Grand Prix. Nico Rosberg comes into the race with the championship lead, but his teammate and defending champion Lewis Hamilton is within striking distance. It will also be the first home race for Haas F1, the first American team in the sport in decades.
Replays of V8 Supercar action and Pirelli World Challenge can be seen on Sunday afternoon. Earlier on Sunday, MotoGP will race live from Phillip Island with Marc Marquez having already claimed the title.
