A.J. Foyt Racing

A.J. Foyt Racing is going through a number of changes this offseason. For starters, the team changed both of its drivers. Takuma Sato is out to make room for Carlos Munoz, and Conor Daly takes over the newly renumbered 4 car in place of Jack Hawksworth. The team also changed manufactures in the offseason, going from Honda to Chevrolet saying their extremely excited to be back with Chevrolet in 2017,

"“I’m glad to be back with Chevy,” said A.J. Foyt, team owner “I’ve had a lot of success with them in the past and I’m looking forward to more success in the future.”"

ABC Supply Company returns to sponsor the team for the 13th consecutive year, as the company celebrates their 35th anniversary. ABC Supply Company’s sponsor is proud to be back with the team saying,

Inc. president and chief executive officer. “They’ve been part of the ABC team since 2005, and our associates and customers look forward to watching Carlos and Conor compete and win in 2017.”"

The team has also dispersed part of its team to locate in Indiana to be closer to the Indy Car Mecca. This is to hopefully help stay in tow with the Indy Car teams while also keeping their main base in Waller, Texas.

Over the last few years, A.J. Foyt Racing has struggled only scoring 1 victory since 2013, and have scored only 3 podiums in that span as well. Foyt knows the clock is ticking on his team to see drastic changes in his team.
