Joe Gibbs Racing enters the 2017 season with three familiar faces capable of winning every week and a brand new face with a high expectations.

Joe Gibbs Racing’s offseason seemed to be relatively quiet, until January 11.  That is when Carl Edwards shocked the racing world and announced he was leaving NASCAR and would not compete in the upcoming 2017 season.

Enter Daniel Suárez into the No. 19 Arris Toyota Camry for the 2017 season. Suárez will compete against his former teammate at Joe Gibbs Racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, Erik Jones, for Rookie of the Year Honors. Suárez will have the guidance and expertise of two champions and a Daytona 500 champion and at his fingertips.

Joe Gibbs Racing will once again see a driver shuffle, just two seasons after expanding to a four car operation. Will adding a rookie to the driver lineup with just a little over a month to prepare for a 36-race schedule be too much?

Let’s take a look at each driver in order of where they finished in the final season standings, starting with Kyle Busch.
