Every weekend the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series brings with it several high’s and low’s for their drivers. Coming out of Phoenix a handful of drivers had a good weekend but only one driver had the best weekend ever.

Coming into the NASCAR weekend a lot of the focus was on Kyle Busch and Joey Logano, despite Martin Truex Jr. winning his first race of the 2017 season last weekend in Las Vegas. In the previous 27 races coming into Phoenix, Truex had won five times, which put him atop of the list for the most wins over that period of time.

Aside from Logano, Busch and Truex, the other focus coming into Phoenix was the early season struggle of some of the top drivers in the series. After three Cup Series races this season Kyle Busch, Jimmie Johnson, Austin Dillon, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Danica Patrick were all without top-10’s this season.

After all of the up’s and down’s in Phoenix one driver came away having the worst weekend ever and one driver came away having the best weekend ever. The only question left is which driver had which?
