Motorsports TV Schedule For March 23rd-26th
By Alex Herbst
NASCAR continues to roll out west, while Formula One finally awakens from their winter slumber. All that and more in this week’s motorsports TV schedule.
From Fontana to the Motor City, and Qatar to down under, the motorsports TV schedule is filling up as more racing series come out of their winter holiday. While NASCAR continues to turn things up out west, Formula One and MotoGP return to the schedule, bringing some more international flare to the end of March.
In the world of stock cars, NASCAR will finish up their west coast tour at the Auto Club Speedway, where both the Xfinity Series and Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series will be in action. It will be a 300-miler for the junior division on Saturday, while the big boys race for 400 miles in the California sunshine on Sunday.
Meanwhile, across the Pacific Ocean, the buzz of Formula One will be back on the streets of Melbourne, Australia. New colors, new driver pairings, and new excitement about a new owner all help usher in what could be the beginning of a new age for the world championship. But the biggest question as the world watches from down under is…can anyone unseat Mercedes at the top?
The rest of the racing world is busy this weekend too. MotoGP finally gets into gear after a series of tests throughout the beginning of 2017, racing this weekend in Qatar. There is more action to be seen on two wheels as well, with Monster Energy AMA Supercross invading the home of the NFL’s Lions, Ford Field in Detroit.
