Motorsports TV Schedule for April 6th to 9th

The busiest weekend of the 2017 motorsports TV schedule so far has arrived. All three of the top series globally are in action. Check out all the fun!

The progressive growth of the motorsports TV schedule early in 2017 hits a new peak this second full weekend in April, with lots of action on track. All three of the top racing series globally are racing, from Shanghai to Fort Worth, and all points in between.

NASCAR keeps their early stretch rolling, now heading deep into the heart of Texas. Racing from the Lone Star State begins with the Xfinity Series at Texas Motor Speedway on Saturday. That’s followed by the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series on Sunday afternoon for 500 miles. The Camping World Truck Series will have the weekend off.

The open wheelers are back racing this weekend, too. IndyCar goes from east to west, hitting the streets of the historic Long Beach circuit. They will be joined by the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and the Pirelli World Challenge in racing on the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach weekend. Sports cars take control on Saturday, then America’s best open topped racers roll out on Sunday.

Formula One saw Mercedes get dethroned to open the new campaign, as Ferrari and Sebastian Vettel went to victory lane in Australia. Can Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas bounce back in Shanghai? The Chinese Grand Prix tears up Asia this weekend, adding to a very busy racing schedule.

In other racing series, the ARCA Racing Series comes back after almost a month and a half off, racing at Nashville’s Fairgrounds Speedway. Meanwhile, Monster Energy AMA Supercross tears up the dirt on Saturday night in Seattle.
