Motorsports TV Schedule for April 20 to 23
By Alex Herbst
After a quiet Easter break for most of the racing world, we’re back in the high gear with a jam-packed motorsports TV schedule this weekend.
Whether you’re a fan of racing on two or four wheels, this penultimate weekend in April has you covered with lots of racing across the United States. That’s right, another week of a busy motorsports TV schedule means the fans are the big winners again.
Leading off the racing schedule will be NASCAR, back from a weekend off for Easter. They return to race as the last great coliseum, Bristol Motor Speedway. The Xfinity Series is first out to tackle the high-banked bullring on Saturday. Then it’s the Cup Series that will race in their 20th anniversary of the spring race at Bristol.
Meanwhile, the open wheel boys will be back too, racing deep in the heart of the sun belt. Barber Motorsports Park will come alive with the sound of fast IndyCar engines in the Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama. After two surprise winners to start out 2017, can the super teams of Ganassi, Andretti, and Penske strike back?
For you two-wheel fans, we’ve got you covered there too. Monster Energy AMA Supercross is back out west, racing in Salt Lake City on Saturday. Then on Sunday, catch action from Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas as MotoGP and MotoAmerica will be racing from the home of the United States Grand Prix.
