Motorsports TV Schedule for Memorial Day Weekend 2017

The weekend racing fans have been waiting for all year is here. The biggest Sunday of the motorsports TV schedule has finally arrived.

Monaco, Indianapolis, and Charlotte. They are home to three of the biggest races on the motorsports calendar, and they all fall on one day in May. Memorial Day weekend is the greatest weekend of racing in a year, and you can be certain throngs of fans will make their way to the tracks and the TV screens to see the races for themselves.

Leading off the action will come from Formula One, which returns to hallowed ground by racing on the streets of Monaco. It is an open battle for the top spot in the championship this weekend between Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel and Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton. Throw in the wild card of Jenson Button returning to McLaren, and this year’s Monaco Grand Prix will be one you cannot miss.

Following the famous grand prix will be the “Greatest Spectacle in Racing” for the 101st time. The Indianapolis 500 looks to continue its momentum after it hit the century mark, welcoming in not only new fans, but new teams and new drivers. Perhaps no driver has caught the attention of the world more than F1 star Fernando Alonso, who will race in his first oval race at IMS. The whole world will wait and see how he and the other 32 drivers handle the Indy 500.

Finally, cap off your Sunday night with the longest stock car race of the year, the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Martin Truex Jr. dominated this race a year ago, but can someone else sweep in and take victory in the new four-stage format? The Xfinity Series will precede the Cup Series on track, racing on Saturday afternoon.
