Stewart-Haas Racing

Kevin Harvick seems content at SHR and has said so since the announcement of switching manufacturers from Chevrolet to Ford. Kurt Busch was handpicked by Gene Haas to drive the No. 41 and Clint Bowyer just joined SHR this season to replace Tony Stewart. Danica Patrick has had some sponsorship worries in the No. 10 car and as usual, finds her performance on the track under the microscope.

The most logical conclusion for this team would be that the No. 10 team doesn’t find full-time funding and has to close down, leaving Patrick without a ride. After a series of tough crashes and bad luck, Patrick finds herself struggling in the point standings. The Nature’s Bakery sponsorship saga is never-ending as well.

It also wouldn’t be a surprise if the No. 41 car is eliminated. Gene Haas is essentially funding that car out of his own pocket with Haas Automation picking up the sponsorship for a majority of the races.

Both of those scenarios said, it doesn’t seem likely that either team will be eliminated according to Gene Haas. Haas has said that he plans to keep all four teams for the 2018 season but that the driver lineup might look different. That would eliminate this team from consideration.
