Takeaways and Future Plans

Q8. “Heritage Road” is a six-part series. Do you have any plans for any future series following its conclusion?

A8: Not right this minute, but there are so many stories – SO many stories – that we couldn’t include this time around. We wouldn’t be hurting for new material. With NASCAR, there’s always more to tell.

Q9. What did you find most rewarding about putting together a unique series like this?

A9: Honestly, for me, Heritage Road has been a much bigger challenge than I expected. I’ve been able to contribute to the project from day one just with my knowledge and contacts within the sport. But the production process is much different than what I’m used to. I come from a radio broadcasting background, and the podcasting world is a much different animal. This has really helped me get out of that announcer mindset and grow in my storytelling ability. It’s been a unique and rewarding experience. Oh yeah, and I got to attend more races at some different tracks. That’s always cool for a race dork like me.
