Ryan Preece took a surprising first victory at Iowa Speedway on Saturday afternoon, while championship contenders struggled to keep up.

It was a double-edged sword for the Xfinity Series regulars on Saturday afternoon following an exciting running of the US Cellular 250. While Ryan Preece took his first victory for Joe Gibbs Racing, taking away points from a Xfinity Series regular, the former JD Motorsports driver was lauded as one of the good guys of the garage. However, the results from the cornfields did shake up the battle for the playoffs.
