Hendrick Motorsports recently announced that Kasey Kahne will not be returning to the team following the conclusion of the 2017 NASCAR Cup Series season. Let’s have a look at the six races won by Kahne during his six-year tenure with the team.

Instead of bringing back 37-year-old Kasey Kahne for a seventh NASCAR Cup Series season in the #5 Chevrolet, Hendrick Motorsports opted to sign 19-year-old rising star William Byron, who currently drivers for JR Motorsports, a team co-owned by Hendrick Motorsports team owner Rick Hendrick, in the Xfinity Series.

This leaves Kahne without a full-time ride in the 2018 season as of now. While he very well could secure a full-time ride with another team for next season at any time, he definitely will not be returning to Hendrick Motorsports.

In his six seasons with Hendrick Motorsports, the sixth of which not yet being complete, Kahne has won six races. He won at Charlotte and New Hampshire in the 2012 season, Bristol and Pocono in the 2013 season, Atlanta in the 2014 season, and most recently Indianapolis this season.

Let’s have a look at each of those six races won by Kahne during his six-year tenure as the driver of the #5 Chevrolet driver for Hendrick Motorsports and how he was able to get to Victory Lane in all of them.
