[Last Race: 17th (-1)] — Jolyon Palmer finally scored points this season with a 6th place finish at Singapore, but he was unable to back it up with a good result at Malaysia.. Renault. Renault. JOLYON PALMER. #18

#17. [Last Race: Not Ranked (+4)] — Pierre Gasly had a solid Formula One debut at Malaysia. While he did not score points, a 14th place effort is nothing to scoff at in a series debut driving for Toro Rosso.. Toro Rosso. Renault. PIERRE GASLY

Ferrari. KEVIN MAGNUSSEN. #16. [Last Race: 14th (-2)] — Kevin Magnussen finished in 12th place at Malaysia, which is sadly one of his best finishes as of late. He has not finished in the top 10 in any of the last seven races.. Haas

[Last Race: 15th (-)] — Fernando Alonso very well could have finished higher than 11th place at Malaysia, especially since his teammate finished four spots higher than he did. However, the finish was just his fourth finish in 13 starts so far this season, so he’ll take it.. McLaren. Honda. FERNANDO ALONSO. #15

#14. [Last Race: 13th (-1)] — Romain Grosjean was never a factor at Malaysia and ended up with a disappointing 13th place finish behind his teammate. He still sits within striking distance of the top 10 in the drivers championship, however.. Haas. Ferrari. ROMAIN GROSJEAN

STOFFEL VANDOORNE. #13. [Last Race: 18th (+5)] — After not finishing higher than 10th place in any of the first 13 races of the season, Stoffel Vandoorne has now racked up back-to-back 7th place finished to shoot up to 14th in the drivers championship.. McLaren. Honda
