Sebastian Vettel causing a wreck is getting to be a weekly occurrence in Formula One. This time, it happened after the Malaysian Grand Prix with Lance Stroll.

In the 15th race of the 2017 Formula One season at Malaysia, Sebastian Vettel had to start from the back in 20th position because of an issue with his car before qualifying. For a similar issue, his Ferrari teammate Kimi Raikkonen was unable to start the race after qualifying in 2nd place.

However, Vettel was able to minimize the damage he suffered in the drivers championship to points leader Lewis Hamilton by rallying to finish the race in 4th place. But it was the damage that his car physically suffered after the race had concluded that has people talking.

On the cooldown lap, Vettel and Lance Stroll collided, causing massive damage to the rear on the left side of Vettel’s Ferrari. Vettel was furious with Stroll over the radio, and many fans were quick to place the blame for the accident on Stroll.

But a new video angle of the accident tells a different story of this accident as far as who the blame should be placed on. Have a look at this video.

The new angle seems to tell a different story. Stroll simply continued driving along, while it was Vettel who changed lines and crashed into the 18-year-old rookie’s Williams Mercedes.

More from Formula One

Vettel has had quite an interesting season so far. The four-time champion intentionally slammed into points leader Lewis Hamilton at Baku after he initially thought Hamilton had brake checked him, although Vettel later admitted, as did the data, that this was not the case.

Then at Singapore, Vettel, who started the race on the pole, caused a massive first-corner collision with Max Verstappen and Kimi Raikkonen and then eventually Fernando Alonso before Vettel found himself spinning out just a few hundred feet down the road.

And now this incident with Stroll just a day after shaking the hands of every one of his crew members after they worked long and hard in order to get his car in a healthy condition so that he could still race despite starting way back in 20th place.

And somehow through all of this, Vettel is alive and well in terms of the championship hunt, as he sits just 34 points behind Lewis Hamilton with five races to go as he attempts to become the third driver in Formula One history to win five or more titles.
