How have each of the four Championship 4 NASCAR Cup Series drivers fared at Homestead-Miami Speedway over the years?

The 36th and final race of the 2017 NASCAR Cup Series season and thus the final race of the 10-race playoffs is set to take place at Homestead-Miami Speedway in Homestead, Florida this Sunday. That race, the Ford EcoBoost 400, is this year’s Championship 4 race, and it is in this race during which the 2017 Cup Series champion will be decided.

Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick, Martin Truex Jr. and Brad Keselowski will be the four drivers battling to win this season’s championship. They drive for Joe Gibbs Racing, Stewart-Haas Racing, Furniture Row Racing and Team Penske, respectively.

For clarity purposes, points have reset to 5,000 for the Championship 4 drivers, with no previous playoff points being added to those drivers’ point totals. Also, the 2017 Cup Series champion will be whichever one of these four drivers finishes the Ford EcoBoost 400 in the highest position. Stage points are negligible.

More from NASCAR

2014 NASCAR Cup Series champion Kevin Harvick has clearly had the best track history among the four Championship 4 drivers at Homestead-Miami Speedway, accounting for one of the two wins, eight of the 15 top 5 finishes, 14 of the 29 top 10 finishes and 16 of the 39 top 20 finishes. Kyle Busch also has a win at the track, but Martin Truex Jr. and Brad Keselowski do not.

Among those four drivers, only Harvick has been able to consistently have success at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Will that success continue this weekend to the point where he is able to secure his second career NASCAR Cup Series championship and second in the last four years?
