The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series season will conclude this Sunday at Homestead-Miami Speedway and a new champion will be crowned.

The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series travels to stop number 36 of the schedule at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Sunday. Four drivers have the opportunity to capture the title as the season comes to a close.

Well here we are, Homestead-Miami. The final race of the 2017 season, which has been great all the way up to this point. I for one have thoroughly enjoyed this season and am already looking forward to what 2018 will offer. However, there is one more big race left in this season and in two days we will crown a champion.

There are four drivers who will drive for the championship and every one of them has a legitimate shot at the title. Brad Keselowski, Kyle Busch and Kevin Harvick have all been here before and will look for championship number two. Martin Truex Jr. is the fourth driver with his sights set on winning his first NASCAR Cup Series championship.

The worst part about the race this Sunday is knowing it will be the last time we will see Dale Earnhardt Jr. behind the wheel. It could very well be Matt Kenseth’s final race as well — two iconic drivers we may only get to see race one more time. Both will be driving special throwback paint schemes for their final run on Sunday.

It is difficult to predict just five things that will happen this Sunday, but here are the five things you can expect to see on Sunday at Homestead-Miami.
