In the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the 20th and final race of the 2017 Formula One season, several drivers will have a chance to improve upon their current position in the standings.

There is only one Formula One race left on the 2017 schedule, which is made up of 20 races, and that lone remaining race is the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, which is set to be held at Yas Marina Circuit on Sunday, November 26th, which is in just under two weeks.

Both the drivers and constructors championships have already been decided, with Lewis Hamilton securing his fourth career Formula One championship and Mercedes winning their fourth constructors championship in a row, but there are still several positions in the standings that are available for the taking.

Because the descriptions of constructors’ scenarios to finish in particular positions in the standings are a separate article, this article will only go into drivers’ scenarios to finish in particular positions in the standings.

A maximum of 25 points are on the table for each driver in the race if that driver wins the race. Without further ado, let’s have a look at the different scenarios that each driver has as far as their positions in the final drivers standings do.

NOTE: This article goes over the same scenarios shown in yesterday’s “Formula One: Several drivers standings positions up for grabs in Abu Dhabi Grand Prix” article, but these scenarios are shown from each driver’s point of view as opposed to the point of view of each of the positions in the drivers standings that the 20 current drivers are aiming for.
